We strive to make sure all our ingredients are natural, cruelty free, vegan, palm oil free, paraben free, sulphate free, synthetic free, silicone free and as sustainably sourced as possible.

Our shampoo surfactants
Sodium cocoyl isethionate: A mild, gentle, natural surfactant derived from coconuts that cleanses, conditions and softens the hair and skin. Palm oil free!
Cocamidopropyl betaine: A gentle foam boosting co surfactant, again coconut derived and palm free. Softening and anti static.
Surfactant SLH: Another palm oil free co surfactant derived from coconut fats for a creamy cleansing solution.
Our conditioning agents
Shea butter: moisturises, softens, repairs, smoothes and seals the hair cuticle.
Coco butter: nourishes, softens, shines, treats, detangles and prevents breakage.
Jojoba oil: packed with nutrients it treats and nourishes the hair and scalp, prevents moisture loss, light/non greasy.
Argan oil: moisturises, damage repair, anti frizz, smoothing, shine, high in antioxidants, restores elasticity.
Avocado oil: high in minerals and antioxidants, moisturises, strengthens, smoothes and seals the hair cuticle, preventing breakage.
Broccoli seed oil: vitamin C and B6 for strength, moisturising fatty acids for healthy hair growth, prevents split ends, anti frizz, light and easily absorbed, locks in hydration.
Coconut oil: deep penetrating nourishing oil, repairs, smoothes, shines and seals the cuticle.
Trumulse HC: natural cationic conditioner and emulsifier, anti static agent. Derived from the fermentation of plant materials using sustainable green chemistry principles. Bio organic, palm oil free. (a lot of other solid conditioner bars use BTMS-50 which is not 100% natural and is also palm derived. Trumulse is a much better more sustainable and ethical alternative to this)
Cationic guar gum: natural conditioning and thickening gum, increases combability(detangler) anti static, anti frizz.
Heptyl undeclynate: natural silicone replacer, smoothes, shines, adds slip, detangles, anti frizz, anti static, light emollient that doesn’t cause build up unlike synthetic silicone! Degreases oil blends. Palm oil free.
Cetrimonium chloride: conditioning, smoothing, anti frizz, detangler, anti static, easily absorbed.
Aloe vera leaf juice powder: moisturising, protective, healing, bodifying.
Nettle root powder: promotes hair growth, bodifying
Brassica alcohol: naturally derived bar hardening agent and thickener derived from sustainable rapeseed oil. Palm oil free!(many other bar products commonly use stearyl or cetearyl alcohol which are both palm derived, and that just wasn’t going to be good enough for our products with our focus being on sustainable choices)
Hydrogenated olive oil & olive oil unsaponifiables: conditioning esters made from olive oil, natural silicone alternative, softening and smoothing.
Hydrolysed wheat protein: conditioning, deep hydration, anti static, bodifying, boosts shine, prevents breakage.
Panthenol (pro vitamin B5): natural vitamin widely known for its softening and moisturising qualities, bodifying, soothing, strengthening.
Tocopherol(vitamin E): Antioxidant, supports healthy hair and scalp, stimulates hair growth, moisturises, shines.
Our essential oils
Tea tree (melaleuca alternifolia): antibacterial, soothing, scalp relief, stimulates hair growth.
Peppermint(mentha piperita): increases circulation, stimulates hair growth, refreshing.
Sweet orange (citrus sinensis): treats an irritated scalp, vitamin rich, moisturising, uplifting.
Lime (citrus aurantifolia): restorative, anti-aging, promotes hair growth, enhances shine.
Ylang ylang (cananga odorata flower): anti bacterial, anti stress, improves hair texture, uplifting.
Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis): promotes hair growth, soothing, anti-inflamatory.
Bergamot (citrus bergamia): mood enhancing, rich in antioxidants and antimicrobials, enhances shine.
Grapefruit (citrus grandis): scalp health, promotes healthy hair growth, antioxidant.
Vanilla (vanilla planifolia): promotes healthy hair growth, strengthening, soothing.
Cinnamon bark (cinnamomum zeylanicum): cleansing, promotes stronger thicker hair, stimulating, antifungal.
Rose geranium (pelargonium roseum): vibrancy, promotes hair growth, general health and shine
